Abstract
Degenerate four-wave mixing of picosecond light pulses in polydiacetylene dissolved in toluene has been observed. Phase conjugate reflectivities of over 100% were obtained. The origin of the non-linear interaction was found to be a thermal refractive index change. Keywords
