Abstract
Spermatozoa from the bovine caput epididymidis develop progressive motility when they are incubated with a cyclic AMP phosphodiesterase inhibitor and bovine seminal plasma. Using a photomicrographic motility assay, we have determined the distribution of the factor (or factors) that produce this motility in a variety of bovine fluids and tissues. We have shown that the factor is present almost exclusively in reproductive tract fluids. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
