Abstract
The relative importance to hares of pasture fields, with and without farm livestock [cattle and sheep] was assessed on a mixed farm of cereals and grass. Stocked pastures were used less by hares than unstocked pastures, because of disturbance by livestock. Changes in the acreage of grassland may account for the recent decline in hare numbers. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
