Abstract
Experiments using a combination of capacitance and photovoltaic transient spectroscopy on hydrogenated amorphous silicon solar cells demonstrate that carbon produces a metastable defect with characteristic energy and emission time. This defect is involved in solar cell degradation.Keywords
