Abstract
The leukocyte counts of milk from 31 herds as delivered to processing plants were compared with the percentage of animals with mastitis in these herds over an 11-mo. period. From the regression curve calculated it appeared that if a herd contains 40% or more infected animals, the leukocyte count of the herd milk may be expected to be over 1,000,000 leucocytes per ml. of milk. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
