Abstract
A series of open and double-blind studies confirm previous reports that cefadroxil is effective in treating infection of skin and soft tissue. An overall clinical and bacteriological cure rate of 96% is reported for more than 1000 patients. Cefadroxil can be administered on a once- or twice-daily regimen and still produce results comparable to those seen with other oral cephalsporins given up to four times daily. Keywords
