Abstract
A description is given of a chamber for growing exptl. plants illuminated with 144 30-watt fluorescent lamps. In this chamber, relatively accurate control is exercised over most of the environmental factors which influence plant growth and development A discussion is given of the degree of control over environmental factors which is possible and of the growth of several types of plants from seed to maturity inside of the chamber.
