Abstract
A strong magnetic‐field‐dependent room‐temperature attenuation of 618‐MHz surface waves propagating on a Y‐cut quartz substrate coated with a 200‐Å nickel film was observed. The attenuation could be varied over a range of more than 25 dB/cm by external magnetic‐field changes of less than 10 Oe.Keywords
