Abstract
This article reports an analysis of the journals contributing articles to the literature of superconductivity over the last 15 years. The analysis reveals that the literature of superconductivity has tripled in absolute size and has grown more intense over time as well. Core journals were identified by the minimum perfect Bradford partition methodology. Citing / cited core journal analysis reveal a communication pattern dominated by a pair of journals. Problems of bibliometric methodology such as literature definition, Bradfordian mechanics, and citation analysis are critiqued. Keywords
