Abstract
A new technique has been developed in which a quantitative analysis analysis of the sum-peaks observed with a high resolution Ge(Li) X-ray detector, yields PK, the probability for K-electron capture to the two excited states 1/2+, 437.0 keV and 3/2+, 383.8 keV of 133Cs in the decay of 133Ba (10.4 yr). A total PK has also been determined from the measurement of the gamma-ray and K X-ray intensities following the decay. Keywords
