Abstract
We have measured the de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) effect for the antiferromagnetic compound SmIn 3 . The Fermi surfaces of SmIn 3 are roughly similar to those of the non-4 f reference compound LaIn 3 , although they are modified in topology by the magnetic Brillouin zone. The cyclotron masses are in the range of 0.2 m 0 to 1.3 m 0 , which are twice or three times larger than those of LaIn 3 .Keywords
