Abstract
Testicular scan is an important method to improve the preoperative diagnosis of torsion of the testis [in humans]. This method was used to diagnose torsion of the testis and for 3 mo. followup studies correlated with testicular biopsy. The twisted testicular portion should be left in the scrotum because some vital cells may still be functioning. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
