The Role of Human Factors in Rural India

Abstract
Scope and prospects of work in the field of human factors in rural India are discussed. Modifications in technology for its adaptation to the needs of the native society are important. A man-powered grain harvester designed to satisfy these needs is discussed. Various individuals and organizations interested in different disciplines of human factors in India are listed. These individuals and organizations could act as a nucleus for much broader work in the field.
