Abstract
The a estradiol benzoate was given to 5 patients, aged 58-72, in intramusc. injs. in doses of 6,000 to 12,000 R.U., 3 to 6 times a wk. The patient receiving the least amt. of this substance was given 587,000 R.U. in 196 days, and the patient receiving the greatest amt. was given 1,372,000 R.U. in 221 days. In each patient the vol. of seminal fluid showed a marked decrease during treatment. When the injs. of a estradiol benzoate were discontinued, the vol. gradually returned to its former avg.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
