Malassezia pachydermatis isolation from a scarlet macaw

Abstract
A repeated isolation of Malassezia pachydermatis Weidman from a scarlet macaw is reported. This is the first report of birds infected with this yeast. Es wird von der wiederholten Isolierung von Malassezia pachydermatis Weidman von einem hellroten Ara berichtet. Diese Hefe wurde das erste Mal bei einem Vogel nachgewiesen.Keywords
