Abstract
Following the i.v. injection of [7[alpha]-3H]-androstenolone-[14C]glucuronide into a 51 year old woman the plasma half life of C19-steroid glucuronide was found to be 16.5 min. Within 24 hr. 12.6% of injected 3H-activity were isolated from urine, 0.6% from bile. In urine the activity was detected only in form of doubly labelled steroid glucuronide with the original 3h/14C-ratio; in bile it was detected in the form of singly labelled sulphate or doubly labelled glucuronide, the latter, however, with great loss of 124 14C-activity. Doubly labelled glucuronides of 11 C19-steroids and of 3 phenolic steroids could be isolated and identified in urine. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
