Abstract
A three-station sequential sample changer has been built for a surface-ionization mass spectrometer used in the analysis of nanogram-sized samples. During the analysis of a sample, the previously analyzed sample is replaced and the next sample to be analyzed is preheated. The delay between completion of one analysis and start of the next is reduced to 1 min or less. Keywords
