Abstract
Human dental enamelprotein consists of 2 proteins, Nasmyth''s membrane and groove protein, Both contain tyrosine, and both resist enzymic attack. Groove protein contains carbohydrate, possibly glucose. In cupriam -monium solns. the 2 structures are sharply differentiated, Nasmyth''s membrane resisting soln. and staining black, while groove protein readily dissolves. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
