Abstract
The scattering of various-energy alpha particles by has been studied. The spins and parities of most of the levels up to 7 MeV were either assigned or confirmed. The reduced transition probabilities for several levels were determined with the aid of the Austern-Blair model. Similar measurements with 50-MeV alpha particles on and were made and some evidence is considered for the description of as a core coupled to an odd neutron.
