Abstract
The fluorescence decay time of purest naphthalene crystals has been measured as a function of temperature (300°K-4°K) and thickness. The radiative lifetimes of the two Davydov-components are measured as τa = 115 ± 5 nsec and τb = 33 ± 5 nsec.Keywords
