Abstract
The unsaponifiable matter of yeast fat consists in part of sterol, which may be precipitated by digitonin. The other part varies considerably in composition. The degree of unsaturation depends on the method of saponification and the subsequent treatment. An oil of high I value may be obtained. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
