Abstract
A case of cardiomyopathy with systemic emboli is reported. Two dimensional and M-mode echocardiography showed abnormal intracavitary echoes. After further systemic emboli, echocardiograms showed the complete disappearance of the abnormal echoes found previously in the apex, which suggested that the emboli resulted from detachment of the left ventricular mural thrombi. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
