Abstract
A glass ionomer cement of the powder/water type was used to restore cervical margin lesions. One hundred and forty-two restorations were reviewed over a period of 2.5 years. The material performed well clinically. The appearance of the restorations was good. Surface wear was noticed as time progressed. Nine restorations failed during the study. Failure of restorations was probably due to faults in clinical technique. Keywords
