Classification of Formula Fe XVIII and Fe XIX lines in laser-produced plasma and solar spectra

Spectra which result from $${2s}^{2}{2p}^{n}-{2s}^{2}{2p}^{n-1}4d$$ transitions in Fe XVIII and Fe XIX are identified in solar spectra and the spectra of laserproduced plasmas. Atomic self-consistent-field calculations of wavelengths and oscillator strengths form the basis for the line classifications.
