Abstract
The angular distribution for the reaction 76Ge( pi +, pi -)76Se is calculated in the proton-neutron quasiparticle RPA using the two-body G-matrix of the Bonn potential. It is shown that the angular distribution decreases rapidly with an increase in the particle-particle strength gpp. The authors also predict a strong forward peaking of the angular distribution already observed in lighter nuclei. Keywords
