Selenomethionlne Se 75 administered to a patient with myasthenia gravis was selectively absorbed by a thymoma, so that scan of his mediastinum revealed the size and location of a tumor which was not apparent when customary roentgenographic methods were used. Subsequent removal of the tumor demonstrated that the tumor/muscle uptake ratio was about 6:1.
