Abstract
A method is described whereby the thermal conductivity of a pressed powder sample is measured with an ordinary type differential thermal analysis apparatus. Provided that the corrections for the heat leakage and for the errors from thermocouples are carried out, it is found that the DTA method can be used for obtaining rough values of thermal conductivity easily with small amounts of the sample. Keywords
