Abstract
The RPA and ladder series of many-body Green function formulations are suggested as approximations to the optical potential of e+-atom (molecule) elastic processes. It is pointed out that both infinite series, above, can be exactly summed, in terms of 'renormalised' positron and electron one-particle Green functions. The theory is shown to be in good agreement with experimental results for the e+-H2 system. Keywords
