Abstract
ANGIOGRAPHY OF THE PANCREASAngiography of the pancreas has been considered promising as a method of radiologic visualization of this organ.171 172 173 However, there is varying enthusiasm among angioradiologists regarding its merit. No large series of controlled observations has been published, and only a few reports have made statements of preoperative accuracy. The variable vascular anatomy of the pancreas is of considerable importance, for it influences the accuracy of angiography as well as having a bearing on technical aspects. Anyone attempting pancreatic angiography and its interpretation must be thoroughly aware of these anatomic variations.116, 174 Owing to the multiple sites of origin . . .Keywords
