Gas-Chromatographic—Mass-Spectrometric Determination of Urinary Acid Profiles of Normal Young Adults on a Controlled Diet

Abstract
Urinary acid metabolic profiles of 21 healthy young adults who were maintained on a palatable standard diet for three days have been studied by combined gas chromatography—mass spectrometry. Means and standard deviations of the excretion rates of individual, identified acids were obtained with the aid of internal standards.
