Abstract
IN view of the reports of XYY karyotypes in many adult males with criminal histories, a question of some social as well as genetic interest is the extent to which the XYY genotype is associated with antisocial behavior in children and adolescents. However, to date no systematic study of boys under the age of 16 has appeared.In an attempt to investigate this question a study of all inmates of two institutions for nonretarded (IQ over 70), nonpsychotic juvenile offenders was performed.
