Abstract
In double-blind cross-over studies in 46 patients with rheumatoid arthritis and in 42 patients with osteoarthrosis of the hip, Orudis—a new non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent—has been shown to be well tolerated and to have comparable therapeutic efficacy with indomethacin when given in equal dosage. Side effects were less severe with Orudis. The results suggest that Orudis will prove valuable in the clinical management of rheumatic diseases. Keywords
