Abstract
A theoretical sum-rule estimate of the hadronic contributions to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon is obtained by including the effect of QCD-vacuum condensates in the low-energy region. A comparison of the theoretical and phenomenological results for the hadronic corrections provides a test of QCD as well as correlated bounds for the magnitudes of the and condensates.
