Abstract
The electron neutrino angular correlation coefficient has been measured for the beta decay of the free neutron by measuring the momentum spectrum of the electrons emitted in a restricted angular range from the direction of the recoil protons. Experiments were made for two different angular ranges and yielded a best value for the angular correlation coefficient of +0.07 with an error of ±0.12. This error includes the statistical error in the form of its standard deviation and an allowance for all known systematic errors. Keywords
