Abstract
The 2 present systems of units for strength of allergen extracts, Noon and p.n.u. [protein N units], are unsatisfactory. A new activity unit based on skin prick in humans was described and its relationship to in vitro tests was explored. Potency limits for provocation materials used for skin prick tests were suggested.
