Abstract
The relationship between egg-case weight and number of nymphs emerging for the Chinese mantis (T. a. sinensis Saussure) was significant (r = +0.74, P < .01). The temporal pattern of emergence suggests adaptive strategies for avoidance of both predation and cannibalism. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
