Abstract
Based on the results obtained in animal and in vitro experiments with the use of Releasin, a commercial preparation of relaxin, the substance was used intramuscularly in patients who went into premature labor between the 29th and 31st weeks of pregnancy. The uniformity of action of Releasin in each case in causing cessation of premature labor and the subsequent delivery of the patients at term is discussed. Keywords
