Abstract
The problems involved in accurately measuring the phase distribution in low megahertz ultrasonic fields are discussed. Two measurement techniques are described, one using continuous waves and the other using tonebursts. Preliminary measurement results, using both techniques, on the field radiated by a 2 MHz circular source are presented and show good agreement. Keywords
