Abstract
Transition energies of 25 superdeformed (SD) bands in 13 nuclei of the A=194 region were fitted by the power-series expansion of I in odd powers of /2, ħ(I+1/2)=2αω+4/3β, where /2=ħω, and by the expression for transition energy, =E(I+2)-E(I), where E(I)=AI(I+1) +B[I(I+1)+C[I(I+1). Results are generally similar, and level spins for these SD bands are given based on expectations of rotational model behavior.
