Abstract
We have developed a numerical renormalization-group approach for finite fermion systems, related to the approach used by Wilson for the Kondo problem. Results are similar to those of exact diagonalizations; however, larger systems can be studied and results are obtained for the ground state and many excited states simultaneously. Results for 4×4 Hubbard lattices are given. Keywords
