Abstract
The solution of the Ornstein-Zernike equation with a core condition and direct correlation function of two-Yukawa form is analysed to facilitate the unique determination of the coefficients appearing therein. Two applications of the equation are then discussed. One is to the case of charged spheres, treated classically. The other is to the ground state of hard-sphere bosons. Keywords
