Application Efficacy and Field Persistence of Bacillus thuringiensis when Applied to Corn for European Corn Borer Control123

Abstract
Granular and foam formulations of Bacillus thuringiensis Berliner var. kurstaki applied to field corn were more effective in controlling Ostrinia nubilalis (Hübner) than a spray formulation. On the basis of assays of corn foliage, the granular and foam formulations also were superior to the spray in persistence and efficacy.
