Abstract
Primordial germ cells (PGCs) are migratory invasive cells that migrate to the gonad during early embryogenesis. Isolation of these cells from their migratory path in the anuran amphibian Xenopus laevis provides a useful model system to study the mechanism of embryonic cell movement, cell guidance, and invasiveness. Keywords
