Coulomb Field Effects on the Decay of Bound Polarized Muons

Abstract
The influence of the Coulomb field on the decay of a polarized muon from the shell of a atom is considered. Analytical results valid to order are presented for the total decay rate and for the electron angular distribution. Formulas valid to order are given for the energy spectrum of the emitted electron.
