Abstract
The diffusion of germanium in single crystals of copper has been measured over the temperature range 702°c to 1015°c by the tracer sectioning technique. The temperature dependence of the diffusion coefficient is represented by: The difference between the activation energy for germanium diffusion and for self-diffusion in copper is in good agreement with the Le Claire (1962) theory of impurity diffusion. Keywords
