Downʼs syndrome

Abstract
Recent advances in the psychiatry of patients with Down's syndrome (DS) have been made in the fields of epidemiology, natural history, neuropsychology and neuroimaging. The range of psychiatric disorders to which these individuals are vulnerable has been clarified. Special attention has been paid to studies of affective disorders and Alzheimer's disease (AD), including the features of early clinical dementia.
