Abstract
A good deal of agreement is found to exist between the phonon spectrum derived from superconducting tunneling experiments and that obtained by inelastic-neutron-scattering data. However, some discrepancy has been observed in thallium. We discuss the reasons for these differences, and show how they can be largely eliminated by the proper choice of force constants and pseudopotentials. Keywords
