Hyperboloidal Shells on Discrete Supports

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to present a finite element solution for a column supported hyperboloidal shell taking into account the thickened base and the discrete support system. Essentially, this represents a synthesis of earlier studies with necessary extensions thereof to derive an improved model for the base region of the shell.
