Abstract
The analysis presented in a previous paper is extended to include a consideration of synchronizing and damping torque during continuous and transient oscillations, the description of an equivalent circuit which has been found useful in calculating the decrement of the short circuit current of interconnected machines, and the derivation of simple approximate formulas for the roots of the equation determining the wave shape of the current on three-phase short circuit. Keywords
