Studies of the Marine Algae from Pakistan: Ulvales

Abstract
The morphology, taxonomy and ecology of the order Ulvales occurring along the coast of Pakistan was described. There are 15 taxa in the order, 8 belonging to Ulva [U. reticulata, U. indica, U. fasciata, U. fasciata var. taeniata, U. sorensenii, U. rigida, U. lactuca and U. fenestrata] and 7 to Enteromorpha [E. intestinalis, E. compressa f. complanata, E. compressa, E. clathrata ecad prostrata, E. clathrata, E. procera f. eramosa, E. intestinalis f. tubulosa and E. prolifera]. A new species, U. grande, is also reported. E. compressa var. constricta (J. Ag.) is raised to the rank of species, namely E. constricta comb et stat. nov.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
